SEOmoz is one for your blogroll

November 7th, 2006  ·  by Chris Dohman  ·  No Comments

Rand Fishkin and the gang at SEOmoz continue to be a great source of seo/sem info with a number of great posts this past week.

For those using the social neighborhoods for exposure, Rand has a great post about DIGG and their new tough algo. He details the factors that DIGG may be using to determine it’s front page elite.

We are lucky to have a number of great presenters in our mima seo/sem gang that do a fabulous job. For the rest of us interested in learning what it takes to be a speaker at SES or how one can prepare for such a presentation, Rand answers the common questions he receives in his Unofficial guide to speaking at SES.

Many of our readers work for or own seo/sem companies. Last week Rand wrote about SEO salaries and what individuals in the industry should make. Salaries are a bit tough to talk about but something almost everybody is interested in. Please take it easy on your employers or you may find yourself starting your own seo biz. :)

The last post I will mention is the roundup of competitive link searches that you can use to identify the links the competition has that help them rank well. It’s a long list of search commands and the how and why to use them. Also mentioned in the comments is the new linkfromdomain search command from MSN Live that can be pretty handy.

Hope you enjoy the read and SEOmoz has just been added to the blogroll.
