Seo by the SEA revealed

May 27th, 2007  ·  by Chris Dohman  ·  2 Comments

Bill Slawski’s SEO by the SEA web site was quickly identified by Lee Odden of Online Marketing Blog in the first round of our Guess the Internet Marketing Site game. I wasn’t sure how tough to make this first image or how easy people would it. I figured revealing a good portion of seobythesea.com’s starfish might be the clue folks would pick up on. A big thanks to you Bill for being the first target.

Bill has been doing a good deal of writing on local search and maps at SEO by the SEA lately. If you are a local business owner or trying to market to a local audience I think you will discover some great insight on the subject if you read his stuff. His latest article is Refining Queries Using Category Synonyms for Local and Other Searches.

Thanks again Bill for playing along!

    Thank you, Chris.

I enjoy seeing creativity in action, like your new game. You have some work ahead of you though, with sharp eyed contestants like Lee Odden and Joe Dolson. :)

Thank for kicking things off Bill! You are right, it might be tough fooling these smart search marketing folks.
