Danny Sullivan, Barry Schwartz and Chris Sherman are launching a search news blog called Search Engine Land. OK, another se blog, who cares? Any search marketer or web site owner should care because these guys know the industry and are really plugged in. I have a feeling this will be more than a simple blog. The new site will launch December 11 of 2006 at searchengineland.com
Danny’s current contract ends with Incisive Media after Nov 30th and his 1 year extension with Incisive is only about the 2007 SES conferences, not searchenginewatch.com. So the every day Danny needs a new official home for the daily search engine news grind and this must be it.
Chris is associate editor at Search Engine Watch and seems to be the Danny’s successor for SES. I wonder how his roles will play out between SES and SEL (Search Engine Land).
I am guessing Barry will continue with Rusty Brick, Search Engine Roundtable and The Pulse and still manage to jump in with both feet to SEL. How many feet does he have? He is one Search Engine news hound if I ever have seen one.
As usual, it will be fun to see how this one evolves.
