MimaSM is a collection of people lured and hooked on Search Engine Marketing and Optimization. We are a sub group of MIMA (Minnesota Interactive Media Association) which is a local organization in Minnesota for interactive marketing professionals.

We have a Yahoo Group known as the MIMA SEO/SEM Geek Group which has been around since May of 2005. This group was started with a handful of MIMA members and has grown to 100 Yahoo Group members mostly from Minnesota with many regional, national and other people from around the world interested in SEO and SEM.

We all connect online and even offline looking to learn by asking questions and sharing knowledge with others. For now our Yahoo Group will remain along side our new blog. We will get a feel as to the roles of each as we go along. For now the Yahoo Group does offer easier access for all Yahoo Group members to ask questions and initiate topics where the blog posts will be written by a smaller number of members hoping to inspire discussion with everyone.
