Hi gang. For a little Friday fun in the internet marketing realm I have a new game for you to play called Guess the Internet Marketing Site. The game works like this:
- i snap a capture of a search marketing site home page and cover it up
- i then expose little cutouts of the site and post it
- from these cutouts people can guess the site via the blog post comments
- if nobody is guessing correctly i will reveal some more cutouts
- the first one to guess the site correctly will win a short post about them and their site with a link with dandy anchor text
- the mystery site will also get a short post with a link with dandy anchor text.
Have fun and I hope to see you guess! This one may be a bit easy, I will need to get the hang of this a bit and see how tough to make it for future games.

Lee Odden nailed the right site right off the bat idetifying Bill Slawski’s www.seobythesea.com. I thought it was the starfish that gave it away but Lee informed me that it was the link to SEO by the Sea in the blogroll list right next to it that did it. With the quick win Lee gratiously passed his winning post/link on to the next person to comment to try to keep things going longer (thanks Lee!). That next person to comment was Julie VanMersbergen of days between stations. What the heck, Lee, Bill and Julie all have posts coming their way. Thanks for playing!

Green’s pretty popular as a site color in SEO, so I wouldn’t feel too bad about ‘easy.’ I can name at least 6 SEO blogs of some repute with green as a major color element.
